The Awarehouse Studio was founded by Christian and Patrik Thornell, two adventurers bringing a unique perspective to Swedish film, shaped by many years as monks in the cloudforest of Costa Rica. Our storytelling is infused with a deep curiosity about all of life’s mysteries.
What began with two became four. Composer and sound designer Anton Ariki Sten fills the house with depth and resonance, while screenwriter Rune C Àrn brings a quiet intensity to the written word. Together, we are shaping a studio where story and spirit move as one.
Tales from around this fire are being recognized in festivals and film competitions, featured on prominent platforms, and part of global projects. We continue to co-create and push the boundaries of storytelling through new technology, driven by a desire to spark meaningful conversations.
