The Awarehouse Studio was founded by brothers Christian and Patrik Thornell to bring more magic into the world through storytelling. With a background in both a monastery and the film industry, we’ve seen how stories on all levels inspire, connect and shape our world.

At the start of 2024 we transformed our way of making films by integrating AI. As passionate visual storytellers, we couldn’t be more excited about the creative freedom that these new methods are providing for us and our collaborators.

In essence, it allows us all to focus on the heart of a project; the story.

Christian

Christian is a foundational pillar of The Awarehouse Studio. With a knack for storytelling and an extensive background in filmmaking, Christian infuses every project with creativity and expertise. His journey through the realms of event films, weddings, documentary-style narratives, and fiction has not only enriched his skillset but also deepened his cinematic craft. As one of the founders of The Awarehouse Studio, his vision has been instrumental in shaping our studio’s identity.

Patrik

Patrik is The Awarehouse Studio’s editing maestro and post-production chief. Not only does he excel in giving our projects their final polish, but he also has a solid background in both the art department and as a first-assistant director. He is the one making sure our projects stay on schedule from start to finish. His eye for detail promises that no famous coffee mug accidentally sits in the frame and having him on set allows us to double-check everything we shoot before leaving our location.

Anton​

Anton is our go-to sound expert at The Awarehouse Studio. On set, he’s the master of capturing every sound, from the subtlest whisper to the loudest explosion. In post-production, Anton is responsible for our films’ audio quality, that it meets the highest professional standards. But his talents don’t stop there; he’s also a skilled composer who crafts custom musical scores to fit any project’s mood and style. With Anton’s precise ear and creative compositions, our films achieve an auditory experience as impactful as their visual storytelling.

Cedric​

Meet Cedric, the newest addition to our team at The Awarehouse Studio. With a flair for creative writing and strong administrative skills, he brings a fresh perspective to our projects. His passion for storytelling adds depth and creativity to our commercial productions. Having worked in various roles that involved writing and collaborating with people, Cedric’s experience is diverse yet focused on his passion for communication and creativity. His quickness with ideas, his enthusiasm and his dedication are invaluable assets to our team.

It lies in our interest that you receive the highest ROI possible when working with us. A large part of our clients already have set distribution processes, but if that isn’t you, we are here to help. While distribution isn’t our main service, we offer guidance or extensive support for social media strategies through our partners.

Our studio specializes in both traditional live-action and AI-generated content, with the flexibility to merge both. AI technology enhances our projects with virtual sets and special effects, making production more efficient and cost-effective. Live-action brings depth and realism.
