AI Video Backdrops for Aladdin The Musical

We recently had the pleasure of creating the backdrop videos for Aladdin The Musical here in Sweden. It was a fantastic opportunity to explore how AI filmmaking can blend with a live performance.

The challenge was crafting visuals that were engaging but not distracting and working in real-time with the performance on stage. Sometimes the images served as subtle atmosphere, but at other times they carried key story moments, like when the tornado strikes and reveals Zallham’s palace (video).

Big thanks to Dröse & Norberg for trusting us with this project. We’re thrilled it turned out so well and proud to have played a part in bringing the story to life. This show gave us a real glimpse of what’s possible when AI meets the stage—and we’re excited to keep exploring that magic.
