Some news we’re quietly screaming about:
Our films have been selected for two international festivals celebrating the future of storytelling and the creative use of AI.
🍷 Jólmust will be part of both the Neuro Masters Film Festival and the AI Artist Festival – two event that spotlight innovation, play, and the weirdly touching results of collaborating with machines.
💧 H3O2 was also selected as one of just 15 finalists out of over 1,500 films at Neuro Masters. The winner will be announced June 6.
A Landscape in Motion
We’re in a strange and wonderful moment in film history. For the first time in… well, ever, you can make a film with minimal funding, minimal production team, without a camera, and somehow still participate in international festivals.
That’s wild. And deeply encouraging.
We’re not saying it’s easy (we still haven’t slept properly since our first render), but it’s now possible for stories to travel without first passing through ten gatekeepers and a market budget larger than the story itself.
This shift doesn’t mean every story gets heard, but more do.
And that matters.
About the Festivals
🧠 Neuro Masters Film Festival is an international AI film competition hosted in Moscow, with categories like Best Film, Promo, Comedy, Music, and Social Impact. It’s hybrid (online + cinema screenings), has a solid international jury, and this year received over 1,500 submissions.
🤖 AI Artist Festival is held quarterly, with screenings and talks around AI-generated storytelling, visuals, and sound. It’s backed by ONED Pioneer Imaging Lab and the France-China New Cinemas group. Jólmust joins this lineup as a celebration of creative mischief, intuition, and holiday spirits (in every sense of the word).
